Pacific Optica, an advanced optics and photonics startup based in Santa Barbara, partnered with us to professionalize their brand identity and create a scalable website. The goal: clearly present their world-first imaging products, appeal to a global research audience, and set the stage for growth.

Pacific Optica brings deep expertise in optics, photonics, and imaging to develop products that unlock new capabilities in research and manufacturing. Their groundbreaking products — including the Cousa (the world’s first ultra-long working distance objective for multiphoton imaging) and the Diesel2p (the world’s first dual scan engine multiphoton imaging system) — are used in leading labs across the globe, from Stanford and Harvard to RIKEN and the Pasteur Institute.

When they approached us, Pacific Optica had an existing logo concept, a placeholder website, and two flagship products — but they needed a polished brand identity and a website that could grow alongside their product line.

We began by refining their visual identity to convey precision, innovation, and trustworthiness. From there, we designed and developed a responsive website that showcases their products with clarity, while making it easy to add new offerings in the future. The new site highlights their unique technology, global reach, and application areas, while maintaining a clean, user-friendly experience for researchers, engineers, and procurement teams alike.
